Busy year for hop production in Ontario

Checking out the quality during a harvesting run at Bighead Hops in Meaford in early September 2012. The hops were transported to Bighead for picking, from a grower in the Barrie area. This is the first year that hops were grown commercially in eastern, central and southern Ontario since the 1930s.
